I will also talk about the different kinds of Black history that have been recorded throughout time. The first thing that you should know about black history is that it is not really a history at all. It is a compilation of events and people who have contributed to the development of our culture, our society and even our very own race. Black history is a collection of many different things such as: music, art, literature, science, politics, religion, philosophy, and much more. In fact, if you think about it, every single thing in your life has something to do with Black history. For example, if you are reading this right now then you are most likely a descendant of kings and queens. Some of our ancestors were brought over here as slaves from Africa to work for white men. They were treated horribly and oftentimes they were killed. But even though their lives were filled with tragedy, they were still able to pass down their culture and beliefs to us. We owe a lot of our culture to them.
The second thing that you should know about Black history is that it is extremely important. If you don't know what happened in the past then you will never understand why we are where we are today. For example, when you go to school you learn about the Civil War, but you don't learn about the Underground Railroad. When you go to college you learn about the Civil Rights Movement, but you don't learn anything about the Harlem Renaissance. If you don't know about the past then you won't be able to understand why we are where we currently are. You would be completely lost without Black history.
The third thing that you should know about African American history is that it is incredibly diverse. There are so many different types of black history. One type of black history is the history of slavery. This is a history that was very influential on our society. Another type of black history is the black power movement. This movement was very influential on the Civil Rights Movement and Black Lives Matter movement. Another type of black history that you should know about is the history of African Americans in sports. This history includes the history of baseball, basketball, football, tennis, boxing, and more. The list goes on and on. There are so many different things that you can learn about Black history. Just keep in mind that you need to learn about everything because it will help you in your life.
The fourth thing that you should know about the history of African Americans is that it is extremely important to the United States of America. If you look at our country's history then you will see that African Americans have played an important role in almost every aspect of our nation. If you don't know anything about Black history then you will never fully understand why we are the way we are today. Even though the United States has had a long way to go when it comes to African American culture, they are moving towards removing the idea of racism.
